Peeking behind Glazeon

Of course we all know everything has a why. If the why suits you, you proceed to the who (and if you got to this point, we understand Glazeon caught your eye) The who and the why are equally important to any idea and even-though the two cannot be considered one without the other, the who is the speaker. The one always telling the story.
So, it seems you know what Glazeon is and why it was created… But do you know who we are?
*Note: We didn’t go all stiff and thick about it, this is not meant to be an interview, this is just 4 young men talking about themselves. We keep the stiff upper lip for winning competitions ;)
As a child, I’ve always thrived with a challenge. In fact, in these past years I’ve completely changed my view on life – from having the insight of a goofy pipsqueak, to seeing the bigger picture in a very different manner. Back then, I used to think that there was nothing else in this world apart from for my career and the computers that mastered the power of carrying me as high as possible; only that this was nothing more than a mere illusion. Only now do I understand that the most important thing is, by far, humanity. People. Looking back, I realize that all this time I was nothing but a mud-digging mole: always staring in the dry monitor, seeing nothing but the monitor, hiding myself from what was, in fact, real. Right now, my life flashes in a variety of newly discovered colors. Or at least I hope it does…

Hello, my name is Denis and I see the world through very small eyes. Most people believe I come from China, but appearances can be deceiving. I’m half Romanian, half Tatar. During high-school and judging by my grades, I always scored among the last in a class of very sharp and talented young people. Actually, I can say today that this is one habit I’ve never given up on, that is surrounding myself with smart people from whom I can actually learn new useful things. My favorite color is blue. I am 24, yet I am still a child with sky-high dreams. My biggest challenge, to this day, is by far Glazeon. I was shooting blanks until I discovered entrepreneurship. Sooo, that’s what a wake-up call from evolution feels like!
Some say people with a passion for computers are weird nerds… but at least in my case, appearances were indeed deceiving. Come to think of it, there are always some exceptions to any rule, are there not? But because modesty forbids me from describing myself as the person I really am, I will leave the ‘handsome, smart and loved by almost everyone’ part out….
I was nothing more nothing less than your usual kid, but definitely luckier than the rest. My parents had me visiting the world all around, and I quote “so you don’t end up an ignorant fool”, they said.
I graduated from Tudor Vianu High-school, and then from Polytechnic University, where I am currently undertaking my master’s course.
I was in need for a challenge so I left to Barcelona on a scholarship, so that, in the future, I won’t look back and see myself as the lazy ostrich sitting with his head in the sand all day, doing nothing. It was an excellent experience and I’ve also come to realize what life is like on the outside of the cocoon of my family and friends.
Me? I’m that hardcore metal-head, dressed in black most of the time, who nevertheless enjoys color and art, loves to sip dry red wine and collects music for about… all my life now. I love going out for beers with my friends and playing the bass.

It all began on November 8, 1990. I was the first child in the Stanciulescu family, where for the past 2 generations it seems the male line is the only one there is J. As a kid, I didn’t seem to be on top of the game neither in class, nor in the soccer pitch, nor in any other kind of horse-play. I was aiming high, but I was the only one to know that. In high-school I began to peal this mask off me, the mask of the person always refusing to take on a challenge for fear of looking bad in front of the others. And so, I’ve come to prove that the image of that mediocre John-Doe is not mine to carry. Computers were what triggered colorful flashes into my life.
Winning some competitions represented a solid starting point in my life. Little by little I’ve tied new friendships, I’ve started to think more logically and to tie some links I never knew existed until then in my life. Slowly but surely, I came out of my shell and I can say now that what helped me become what I am today is the curiosity and desire for knowledge. Who am I today? Danut (little Danny) for my loving parents, Dyzzy for the friends that fill my days with fun and joy, and Dani for a very special someone in my life.
Since I was a kid, I’ve always been a sort of a Tom-boy anywhere I went, whether it was high-school, abroad or even around friends. I believe that time passes by much too fast for us to sit back, relax and serve hot tea every day at 5 o’clock. Chances do not wait for us, and I’ve learned that quick, first-thought decisions make the most memorable, colorful memories. In fact, I’ll always risk taking a wrong decision anytime, rather than sitting, staring and thinking it through for so long it becomes … stupid. You have to admit it, sometimes it happens to you. You over-think things. You hesitate. You doubt yourself. Don’t! Get up and make a stand. After all, it’s about you, you’re in control. Do it. Whatever it is. Don’t wait. And keep a close eye on the guys presented above and what they have to say. My first thought is that they’re aiming far ;)
PS: I’m very new to Glazeon. All credits go above :P
